Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are the agreement between WebTestrunner (operated in connection with webtjenester.dk) ("we", "us", or "our") and you ("you" or "User") regarding use of the WebTestrunner website at webtestrunner.com and the scheduled browser testing service we provide (the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing the dashboard, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Definitions

• Service means the WebTestrunner platform, including account management, website verification, test configuration, scheduled and manual browser test runs, and related dashboards and APIs.
• Account means your registered user account, typically identified by email address.
• Content means information you submit or that the Service generates for you, including website URLs, verification tokens, test steps, run results, error messages, and screenshots or other artifacts.
• Plan means the free or paid subscription tier that determines limits such as number of tests, steps, and schedule cadence.

The Service

WebTestrunner lets you verify ownership of websites you control, configure multi-step browser tests, and run those tests on a schedule or on demand according to your Plan. You must only configure and run tests against websites you own or are authorized to test.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, fixed run timing, or that every test will complete successfully. Technical issues, maintenance, queue delays, target-site behavior, and network conditions may affect availability and results.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in email secure and for activity under your Account. Provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes. You may not share Accounts in a way that circumvents Plan limits or these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, including:

• Accessing the Service for lawful testing of sites you control;
• Respecting other users' privacy and intellectual property; and
• Following any published product guidelines and Plan limits.

You must not:

• Use the Service to attack, scrape abusively, spam, defraud, or otherwise harm third parties or their systems;
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or infrastructure;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by overloading runners or circumventing rate or entitlement limits;
• Run tests against websites you do not own or lack permission to test; or
• Use the Service for illegal activity or in violation of applicable law.

Payments and Subscriptions

Paid Plans are billed according to the prices shown on our prices page (currently in euros) and are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges for your selected Plan until you cancel.

If payment fails or a subscription becomes past due, we may suspend paid features and apply free-tier limits. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. Plan features and prices may change; material changes for existing subscribers will be communicated where appropriate.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, branding, design, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or with our prior written consent.

You retain rights in your Content. You grant us a limited license to host, process, store, and display that Content solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, executing tests and showing run history).

Privacy Policy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy.

User Content and Third-Party Sites

You are solely responsible for Content you submit and for the websites you target with tests. Test runs may load third-party pages, assets, and scripts on those sites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for third-party sites, their content, or their practices.

External Links

The Service may contain links to other websites. Those sites are not operated by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. Review their terms and policies before use.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher age of digital consent in your country, if applicable) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal where available. We may suspend or terminate Accounts for repeated policy violations, spam or fraud, illegal activity, unauthorized access attempts, non-payment, or other misuse of the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete or retain Content as described in our Privacy Policy and as needed for legal or operational reasons.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that test results will detect every failure on your websites.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service or inability to use it — including from missed detections, delayed or failed runs, technical issues, or server failures.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim, or (b) €50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Where a remedy is available, it may be limited to service credits or re-performance rather than monetary compensation.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Denmark have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot resolve it, either party may pursue remedies in the courts identified under Governing Law, unless mandatory law requires another forum.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Changes are effective when posted. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any paid subscription.
